About Us

The Ralph D Winter Library was dedicated at Olivet University on September 10, 2007 in a renaming ceremony. The library was presented in person to Dr. Ralph Winter and his wife in honor of the work he has done as one of his generation's foremost mission strategists. Dr. Winter was named one of the 25 most influential evangelicals in Time Magazine in 2005.

The Ralph D Winter Library Project is an extension of the University library, and its aim is to make Christian content available digitally and on the internet. To achieve this goal, the RDWL Project is broken into 3 components: an eLibrary platform, a publishing department, and an advocacy blog. Through these components, we aim to work with interests of both Christian libraries and publishers so that the publisher's content can be safely and profitably offered to libraries. Our blog publishes information about our work and developments in the e-publishing industry.

The project is maintained by a small team within the University, and it includes website designers and programmers, publishing department staff, and a project director. The project is fully supported by Olivet University.

If you would like to find out more about the work we are doing, we would recommend reading through our website, and then if you still have questions, please feel free to contact us.
